Professional Experience

Academic Program Chair
I am currently the Academic Program Chair (APC) for Security and Forensics at the institution where I work. As and APC, I manage the Security & Forensics Program institution-wide, in terms of the assessment, development, implementation and execution of the curriculum and all facets of its resources, content and specifications. I coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) and assessment units to ensure compliance with the QA standards. I work closely with course teams in all aspects of curriculum development and assessment strategies. I provide professional and career development support and perform effective periodic performance reviews and appraisals for direct subordinates.

Teaching
With over 20 years of higher education teaching experience, I taught many courses and different Information Technology domains. My specialization and professional interest is cybersecurity. As a Computer Science Professor, I am responsible for preparing teaching materials, delivering lessons and assessing students’ performance. I adopt a learner-centric approach in teaching. Through careful technology integration, I design and deliver effective learning activities.
